Mr. Lane received a 1994 Telly Award as both Host and Producer for the TV series Curtain Time, a half-hour weekly series featuring prominent playwrights, directors, producers and actors discussing the state of the theatre in New York City. Curtain Time is still rerun on the Crosswalks Television Network which cablecasts to over 1.2 million households in NYC .
